What a year wrapping up for creativity. Here at the Senior Theatre Guild, we've been very busy this year trying to build up our social networks: Facebook, X and Instagram are used by many in this new culture. So hopefully, this will help!
Creative aging is such an important thing in our world. Senior citizens are overlooked in art, but healthy aging needs to include art as well!
There is a lot we're planning on doing in 2026. It's a great idea to begin with staged readings of original plays, for many reasons. However, at the same time, it's important to recognize that there are a lot of arts resources here in the Midwest. Even though there is not a focus on the arts around here, it's nice to see people trying to make a difference with art. Here's a handful of resources:

And many more!
To create your art, you can't look at the big picture. You need to start small and stay focused. That's easier said than done, especially if you're creative and like to exercise your mind!
